1. We believe that the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the only divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).

2. We believe in One God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10-11; Matt. 28:18-20; Luke 3:21-22). 

3. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Scriptures declare: 

• His equality with God (John 1:1; Phil. 2:6; Heb. 1:3). 
• His virgin birth (Matt. 1:23-25; Luke 1:31-35).
• His sinless life (Heb. 4:15; 7:26; 1 Pet. 2:21-22). 
• His substitutionary work on the cross (1 Cor. 15:3-4; 2 Cor. 5:21). 
• His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6; Mark 16:6; Luke 24:6-7; John 20:27-29). 
• His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9-11; 2:33; Phil. 2:9-11; Heb. 1:3-4). 

4. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit as the revealer of divine truth, comforter, guide, and intercessor for all believers, by whose indwelling presence, believers are enabled and empowered to live a godly life (John 3:5-6; 14:16-17; Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 6:19; Eph. 1:13-14; 4:30).

5. We believe that salvation is a free gift from God through faith alone in Christ alone and cannot be earned by any effort on man's part. (John 14:6; Rom. 3:21-24; 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9). 

6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ as one body, of which He is the head (1 Cor. 12:14-27; Eph. 4:4-6). 

7. We believe in Christ's visible and triumphant second coming (Matt. 24:29-44; Mark 8:38; Acts 1:11; Col. 3:4; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; 2 Thess. 1:9-10; 2 Tim. 4:8; Heb. 9:27-28; Rev. 1:7). 

Note: Love Where You Live (LWYL) is a Christian organization. While the above statements provide the primary tenets from the tradition of most Christian denominational and independent churches, we (LWYL) invite other groups, churches, and those of different faith traditions to serve alongside us in loving and caring for our neighbors as Jesus commanded (Matt. 22:39).
